Chevy Chase
Study

A room with many uses. That was the goal of our project in Chevy Chase, DC.

A place where music is played, homework is completed and the newspaper is read.

Our carpenters built the most beautiful bookcase with two desks. Wallpaper lined the back creating both visual interest and depth. The painted brick fireplace was skillfully plastered all while maintaining the original details of the house. Our client’s family member custom built a walnut mantle.

With a nod to our clients love of midcentury design, we added the iconic Herman Miller Eames chair, a fun printed drapery fabric and of course the artwork made it all come together.
